Have you ever started studying a week before a big test, just to find
that after about thirty minutes you are tired? Then, you don't study
for the rest of the week?

Well this use to happen to me before I started implementing some new things while at school and studying at home.

Instructions






Things You'll Need:





  • School Books

  • Paper

  • Pen or Pencil

  • Highlighter






  1. Step 1


    Okay,
    the first thing that you should really get into a habit of is taking
    notes in your classes. They don't have to be word-for-word of what the
    teacher says, but they should have the main idea and a few details. It
    may benefit you to create your own shorthand method for your notes.

  2. Step 2


    Find
    out when and where you should study at. Maybe you like to study in the
    privacy of your own room, or a library so you have other resources
    available. I know that I like to study at night, my mind is more avid.
    So I normally begin to study about an hour before I begin to relax.

  3. Step 3


    Don't
    study for more than thirty minutes at a time. Your brain needs some
    time to relax too. What I normally do is study for thirty minutes, take
    a fifteen minute break, then study for another thirty minutes. This
    way, your brain has a little bit of time for it to not get to much
    information.
